Today’s Tuesday trick comes in handy for all of you “multitasking-trying to do 10 things while cooking dinner-don’t always remember everything i have on the stove type of people”…aka me. Take tonight for example (which I’ll blog about later), I had to get a dinner ready on short notice and had about 6 different things going on in the kitchen…I had no time to watch my pasta to make sure it didn’t boil over.
The solution to that? A wooden spoon laid across of the top of the pot. The water was still boiling, but no boiling over occurred as it did so frequent when I would use a lid. I found it on Pinterest (of course!), and have found it to be very useful.
